Quick Qucik Laddoo for anyone with a sweet tooth like me πŸ™‚

Our lives are so simplified with all the ready products out in the market which in turn has simplified our cooking as well ! AGREE??? For instance, Condensed milk. Imagine how long you would spend in front of the boiling milk and keep stirring and stirring and stirring for the resultant ??? Oh! I just cannot imagine with my two brats around. But still! I love and crave for sweets πŸ™‚ I make sure if one batch finishes the next batch is there there immediately. So some recipes like the ones which I am going to pen down today might be useful for many of my friends who are like me.

Just few ingredients and you can also make yum yum laddoos and impress anyone πŸ™‚

I have used homemade rose syrup. The recipe is already on the blog πŸ™‚ You can click here which will take you directly to the recipe post !

Ingredients:

Measurement used – 1 cup = 250ml

Desiccated coconut – 1 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup (for coating the laddoos)

Rose syrup – 1 1/2 tbsp

Condensed milk – 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Ghee/Clarified butter – 2 tsp

Method:

  1. In a non stick pan, add ghee/clarified butter
  2. Add in the desiccated coconut and roast for about a minute on low flame
  3. Now add condensed milk and rose syrup
  4. Mix everything till incorporated well
  5. When you notice that the mixture is no longer sticking to the pan and forms one whole mix, add cardamom powder and mix well
  6. Turn off the gas and let it cool for about few minutes
  7. Now make small balls and roll it over the desiccated coconut and set aside
  8. Similarly repeat for the remaining mixture and set aside for it to cool completely
  9. Once it cools completely store them in an airtight container and relish whenever you feel like. Like I did just now ! πŸ™‚
