Green Chilli – Coconut chutney/ How to make chutney in 5 minutes.

One more 5 minute chutney for all those who are looking for a quick chutney recipe. I first tasted this chutney in a small hotel which served Davangere benne dosa. This chutney is a total balance of spice and flavour of “Freshly grated”coconut. Very much suitable for Dosas and as I said, can be made in less than 5 minutes . You might be thinking, why did I highlight “Fresh”.  Yes people! only freshly grated coconut can give you the best and spicy chutney. I have previously tried both with frozen coconut and desiccated coconut. But both were a flop show 😦 So, I recommend using freshly grated coconut only.

When you add chillies, do not add too much at ones. Sometimes, the green chillies which we buy vary in their spice level. Some green chillies are too hot to handle and some won’t even hit your palate. So, know your green chilli spice level first. If you do not know, add two first and check if it requires more. If yes, then add few more.
